El Instituto está dividido en dos centros localizados a unos 300 m de distancia. En el edificio principal, sí hay barreras arquitectónicas, ya que se trata de un edificio del siglo XV.

Los profesores de cada materia determinarán las actividades más apropiadas que se ajusten a su asignatura y las necesidades de cada grupo y alumnos en particular, la mayoría de ellas estarán enfocadas a promover la destreza oral.
El horario del centro es de 8:00 a 14:30, clases de una hora de duración con un recreo de 11:00 a 11:30.

Úbeda es una ciudad de unos 34.000 habitantes. Cuenta con numerosos monumentos renacentistas de gran valor histórico, de ahí que fuera declarada Ciudad Patrimonio Cultural de la Humanidad por UNESCO en 2003.
El centro está en pleno casco histórico de la ciudad, en una de las plazas más emblemáticas de la ciudad y junto a los monumentos más representativos de la misma.
En nuestra ciudad contamos con numerosos comercios, supermercados, centro comercial, una amplia biblioteca municipal con zonas dedicadas a la lectura. Zonas de ocio como bolera, cines, centro de deportes, donde la escuela municipal de deportes imparte clases de entrenamiento de diferentes deportes (fútbol, baloncesto, balonmano, tenis, pádel, rugby). Hay numerosos gimnasios que ofrecen distintos tipos de entrenamientos, desde crossfit hasta pilates, yoga etc...
En la localidad hay varios centros bilingües , lo cual permite a los auxiliares que vienen cada año establecer lazos con chicos y chicas que vienen en la misma situación.
Úbeda está localizada a escasos 40km de unos de los parque naturales más bonitos de Andalucía, Sierra de Cazorla , Segura y las Villas, donde se puede disfrutar de diferentes rutas a pie, a caballo, 4x4, visitar el nacimiento del rio Guadalquivir, el más importante de Andalucía, así como realizar diferentes actividades acuáticas como Kayak o rafting. Córdoba y Granada, dos de las ciudades más emblemáticas del Sur de España, están a una hora y media en coche, o con diferentes horarios de salidas y llegadas desde la estación de autobuses
Nuestro centro es pequeño, cuenta con unos 40 profesores, eso nos permite tener una relación más cercana. Además de realizar varias convivencias a lo largo del curso, lo cual nos permite establecer unos estrechos lazos de unión entre todo el personal docente.

En Úbeda contamos con transporte público, autobuses urbanos, pero quizás no sea necesario su uso, ya que la ciudad es perfectamente abarcable a pie.

El coordinador informará de los pisos disponibles para su alquiler en la zona. Los precios oscilan entre los 400 y los 600 euros.

The center is divided into two buildings 300 meters apart. The main building contains some architectural barriers due to it is an antiquity and being a listed building.

The bilingual subjects are Mathematics, History and Geography, Biology, Physics and Chemistry, Technology, and Physical Education. These subjects are distributed across the four years of secondary education (ESO).

The teachers of each subject will determine the topics that fit their subjects, as well as the particular needs of each pupil or group of pupils. The majority of these activities will be focused on conversation and oral comprehension.
The school hours are from 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with classes of one-hour and a break from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM.

Úbeda is a city with around 34,000 inhabitants. It is enriched with countless Renaissance buildings and monuments of great historical value, which caused to be designated as a UNESCO World Heritage City in 2003.
The school is sited in the historic center of the old town, in one of the most representative squares of old Úbeda and close to the most relevant Renaissance monuments.
Our city offers numerous shops, supermarkets, a shopping center as well as a large municipal library containing reading rooms. There are several leisure and entertainment areas such as a bowling alley, cinemas, and a sports center where the municipal sports school offers training in various disciplines (soccer, basketball, handball, tennis, paddle tennis, rugby). There are also several private well-equipped gyms offering different types of training and keep fit activities such as crossfit, pilates, yoga etc.
The city has several bilingual centers, allowing the language assistants to establish links and relations with other language assistants in the same situation.
Úbeda is located just 40 km away from one of the most beautiful wild life natural parks in Andalusia: Sierra de Cazorla, Segura, and Las Villas, where you can enjoy various activities such as horseback riding, 4x4 tours, and visits to the source of the Guadalquivir River, which is the most important river in Andalusia. You can also participate in different adventure activities like kayaking, rafting, etc.
Córdoba and Granada, two of the most emblematic cities in southern Spain, are just an hour and a half away by car. They are also linked to Úbeda through a regular public bus services.
Our centre is rather small with about 40 teaching staff. This allows us to maintain a closer relationship than the average teaching centers. We also organize various social informal gatherings amongst the staff throughout the school year. This further helps us to foster a strong bond among us all.
